Bursaries

We are not affiliated with any of the following websites but advertise them as the work they do is amazing and if you are looking to continue your musical studies but are struggling financially they offer opportunities to keep your dream alive! Remember, if you work hard, are passionate and driven - you can achieve anything!!!

The Clarsach Society

"Each year, The Clarsach Society offers Bursaries to encourage promising players at any level who have limited resources, financial or otherwise.
Bursaries up to five hundred pounds (£500) are awarded for use towards the cost of tuition and accommodation at an approved course with a Scottish content, (e.g. Edinburgh International Harp Festival), or alternatively the use of a harp provided free for one year. Any member of The Clarsach Society, with the exception of trustees, may apply.
The closing date for receipt of applications is November each year."

UK Harp Association Membership

"The United Kingdom Harp Association celebrates our unique heritage, encourages creativity and inspires future generations within our diverse harp community.
We bring together all those interested in the harp, in all its forms, including amateur and professional players, teachers and businesses."

Youth Music

"Youth Music is a charitable funder. This means that we give grants to other organisations - small charities, arts venues, music businesses, youth clubs, music education hubs, housing associations, nurseries and more - to run music making projects or create career progression opportunities in music."
