""Sunday Birds" is a captivating composition that beautifully captures the relaxing feel of a Sunday morning. After collaborating with Christine on the piece, we were able to blend traditional harp techniques with extended techniques and bass harmonies to add texture the work. The initial melody served as the foundation for the piece, evoking the image of birdsong and through the addition of an introduction, bass harmonies and rhythmic variations, Christine transformed the initial melody into a varying soundscape. It was an absolute joy to work with Christine on this piece and to explore birdsong in different ways - a huge thank you to Christine for being so open and for exploring different ways to expand the piece!" - Sophie Rocks 2024
