What a fantastic first PoppyHarp Inspire Weekend!
A huge thank you to Shelley Fairplay and Alexander Rider for delivering such inspiring courses and wonderful concerts. Your energy, enthusiasm and musicianship made the weekend truly special. It was also so lovely to catch up with some familiar faces – a special shout-out to the ever-supportive Paul Lewis. Another enormous thank you to the incredible Bethan Watson from The Harp Studio for joining us and showcasing such a fantastic selection of harps and music for everyone to explore. Most importantly, thank you to all 27 students who attended over the weekend. You were the heart of the event, and your enthusiasm, positivity and willingness to learn created such a warm and inspiring atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better group to share this inaugural weekend with. Thank you all for making the very first PoppyHarp Inspire Weekend such a memorable one. Here’s to many more. |

An escape to West Dean House, set in 6,400 acres of countryside, offers a retreat location with stunning views and the tranquil West
Dean Gardens which you can explore during your stay. Wander through the 300 foot-long Edwardian Pergola and the Victorian Glasshouses; these are some of the few still in use in the UK. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take some time out to explore St Roche's Arboretum and its 50 acres with hidden glades and impressive views. Enjoy a game of croquet or bowls on the lawn, overlooking the South Downs. In the summer months you can also use the outdoor heated swimming pool.
Things to do: Just six miles from the historic city of Chichester and a few minutes' drive from Goodwood Racecourse
