Training continues.... almost threw up when Ells bells (thanks to Aman for that new nickname!) made me sprint up a hill after leg day yesterday. But happy with our 5mile morning and not so happy that his calories seem to be so much higher than mine... Just scroll! I still have exercise to do today to reach my goal ... boo but on our way to the big idea! I’ve had a lovely morning!
12th March 2019
Bottom left = who’s cooking me spaghetti .... mmmmm spaghetti!
Bottom right = mmmmm beans! Do you think I have enough!? No because you can never have enough beans!
11th March 2019
Another training sesh done!
9th March 2019
New leggings for a BIG new idea! ... one that Elliott is still not 100% convinced is even doable.... when you believe you achieve!

This week has been a week of plotting the un-plottable! Not sure my husband realises what he got himself into when he married me!
Here's our story:
7 years ago I met the weirdo that would change my life.
2 years ago I married her.
Its been a whirlwind of keeping up with Frans crazy ideas:
- deciding the loft was dull so creating an indoor treehouse with a giant tree painted in the hall
- getting a dog in a no dog flat and sneaking him in and out as a hat
- building 40 miniature beach huts for wedding favours filled with presents because ordering them was too time consuming
-coming home saying she had rented a shop?!
- and now this run...
Needless to say the last 2 years have been insanely busy. Fran has set up her own business and we both work a minimum of 6 days a week. Spending time together was difficult and often spent cooking, eating and then sleeping. In February 2019 after hardly getting any quality time we decided to start running together
In early March 2019 (after our first 3 short runs) Fran woke up and announced she was going to run 30 marathons for Macmillan in May. As a sports scientist, I suggested that we should aim for something hard but, a little more manageable - a long run... maybe just the one marathon?! I agreed to train with Fran for a week to see how she would cope... She coped... however, agreed that 500km might be a little more realistic.
Over the last two years our two best friends, Fran's dad, other close family friends, colleagues and family members have all suffered with Cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support is an invaluable lifeline to those affected by this horrible disease and their loved ones. Please help us support this amazing charity by backing our MAD MONTH OF MAY!
We are running everyday in May and will keep videos and blog about our journey.
We are not stopping work, we will be keeping up with food shopping and normal tasks and we will not be stopping seeing friends because those with cancer can't stop no matter how exhausted they are. Loved ones can't hide under a blanket for months and pretend the world is cosy still.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
